One Tough Hombre…

“I just can’t watch UFC – it’s too painful.” So our CTO, Shamoun Murtza leans back in his chair overlooking our development pen and dreams of the day his shoulder is well enough to allow him to return to martial arts training and his beloved Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Sure, the cortisone shots help but there’s nothing quite like slithering around an opponent, cinching in a deep arm bar and making them tapout. I can see how Shamoun’s eye’s light up when he talks about the octagon and when he tortures us, uh talks about, how he has made multiple black belt holders submit. The thing is, I believe him – and not because I work with him. He wears the same 3 day old beard growth that Randy Couture, the UFC Heavyweight champ, wears going into a match, and his energy and commitment levels are always through the roof. And he hates to lose. So I’m comfortable saying that I believe our CTO can beat up your CTO. I’m just glad he’s on our side…
